Grandma and Grandpa Q

On Saturday, Julia went with dada and mama to meet her Grandma and Grandpa Q at a local Brazilian steakhouse (mmmm!). In the above picture, Julia sits on Grandpa Q's lap while he takes a phone call. Julia is wondering why he isn't paying attention to her for that one minute!

Here is Grandma Q with Julia. Julia was all ready for bed in her sleeper and very tired, so no smiles for the camera here!

Julia loves to see her grandparents and is looking forward to Thanksgiving!

Flat Top Grill and FINALLY on the belly!

Last night, Julia went with mama and dada and their friends Lisa and Tim to Flat Top Grill for dinner. It was the first time she had juice (diluted with water) and drank it from a sippy cup.



Julia and Tim. "Now, Julia, just because you drink from a sippy cup doesn't mean you are ready to make your own stir fry...especially not my patented super hot hot and sour soup."



Tim: "Don't turn away from me young lady, I am not finished talking to you..."
Julia: "All I hear is "waaa waaa waaa, waaa wa wa waaa."

Today, Julia FINALLYYY at 8 months old realized that being on her belly was not in fact horrifically painful and hey, maybe she will stay this way for a few minutes and chew on a toy for a bit.

"You were right mom, this isn't so bad after all. Sorry I fought tummy time as hard as I could for the last 8 months. Now I will roll and roll and maybe even crawl soon!"

Andddd...

Last but not least, the latest tooth count is 4, going on 5. She has her two top and two bottom teeth in, and another bottom one is on it's way in as well. Not too bad in about a month and a half!

The Scream

Here is a video taken today of Julia's infamous scream. Note how it reaches such a high pitch that it messes up the audio.

8 months old!

Julia turned 8 months old today! Here she is in a cute hand-me-down sweater from Tara on this cold day.

Biter Biscuit Snorting and other adventures

One of Julia's top front teeth is about to come in, so she is chomping on whatever she can get her hands on. Her new favorite thing to chew on is the Biter Biscuit. Tonight, she decided it would be fun to snort continuously while eating the Biter Biscuit...making mama a nervous wreck (especially since it says on the box for babies 10 months +).

My Gym

Today, Julia and Stephie went to their first class at My Gym.



They had a great time rolling in the balls, doing flips on the gymnastics bar (with a little help from the teacher!), and just chewing on toys with the other babies. (Note: That is not Stephie climbing over Julia-just a random curious baby)

They had so much fun that it completely wiped them out!

Splish Splash

Today was a day of grocery shopping and household chores. Not very exciting for Julia, but she had a blast at bathtime tonight!



She thinks it's her job to make the biggest, loudest...

and most animated spashes she can!

Fun at Tara's House

Today, Julia and mama visited mama's friend Tara's house. Tara just had a new baby (Mia) who is 5 weeks old, however, she slept during the entire visit so although mama couldn't get any pics of the little cutie, she was able to capture Julia playing with Mia's beautiful older sis, Olivia (age 4).



Here the girls' daddy, Tony, makes Julia giggle. What a fun afternoon!
