Moving our blog...

Since this blog is pretty much dead, I will take the time to officially end it. I am writing a new blog and instead of it being only Julia-related, it will be written by Mama about our family life, which will soon be going through some drastic changes this year.

The website is still being worked on, but the site is www.parkrangerwife.com

We have much work to do on it, but it will surely be interesting in the future so stay tuned in to the site to hear about our adventures on the new blog!!!

Shedd Aquarium and other adventures

Mama and Julia about a week ago at Bass Pro Shop. Mama apologizes about the sideways pic, but she can't figure out how to turn it over!

Julia tonight before bed, showing off her adorable new Halloween PJ's she got from Grandma Jill. Thanks, Grandma Q!

Reading a magazine before bed

The Chicago skyline last Sunday at the Shedd Aquarium

The new Fantasea Dolphin Show. Heavy on theatrics, light on animals!

Julia enjoyed it anyways!

"Mama, I see two turtles!"

"They're right there...see?"

Julia a few days ago, watching her favorite show...Thomas the Train! Notice she has her toy Thomas in her mouth.

Totally 80's Farmer's Market

Julia at the Farmer's Market two days ago. Mama finally managed (well, sort-of) to get a shot of her famous pursed-lips smile!

"Think I'll just sneak in a nectarine...no one's looking, right?"

Julia's favorite place...standing on the couch

Check out her "totally 80's" outfit!

Enjoying a snack at her table. Do not mind the mess in the background or the mess on Julia...she's been sick the last few days. And eating markers.

"Hi, Papa!"

Raisins or apples? Both!

"I love being a big girl!"

Apple Picking and Pumpkin Farm!

On Sept. 20th, Grandma, Papa, Mama and Julia went to pick apples at the farm. They had so many activities for Julia, including a petting zoo.

Julia stole a fallen apple off the ground and decided that it looked scrumptious...

"I'll take it to go..."

"Haha, can't catch me!"

Eating some more...

"Think I will finish this sitting down for a change..."

Still working on it while Mama and Grandma pick apples...

Delish! She worked on that apple for a good 20 minutes and threw the rest on the ground when she decided she had had enough.

Mama and Julia on the BIG chair.

The next set of pictures were taken on October 4th at the Pumpkin Farm.

A pumpkin amongst the pumpkins

Ooo...found a good one, mom!

They had animals here, too! Not to mention Julia went on a train ride, a hayride, and in a mini-moon jumper (they had many of those, not to mention a corn maze, pony rides, a giant slide, and many other activities)!

Julia has had so much fun already this fall!

What a stinker!

Today, while mama was talking with Auntie Lisa in the living room, Julia walked in with a huge grin and an armful of toilet paper. She had unraveled it and apparently wanted to show off her accomplishment. Mama had left the bathroom door open! By the time mama caught up with her, she had carried it into the bedroom.

Nice work!

Very creative.

The "stinker grin"

Bye bye, baby highchair

Now that Julia is almost 18 months old, mama decided that it was time to graduate from the high chair to the booster seat. What a big move!

Here she is, eating at the big table with the grown-ups!

She is so excited! Congratulations, Julia!

Music class, playground, and spinning

Julia yesterday at her first "Tot Rock" class at the park district.

Interviewing her shadow

Whoa...freaky mirror!

Doin' her thang

I'm getting warm...hey! The pond looks cool and inviting.

Mama wouldn't let me swim, so I guess it's back to the playground.

See my hair? It's red. And curly.

Told you.

Julia spinning. Note the Cheerios on the floor.
